Communication Training by IUCEA

The Inter-University Council for East Africa (IUCEA) is organizing a communication-training course as part of capacity building support to Eastern and Southern Africa Higher Education Centers of Excellence (ACE II) to effectively communicate project results. The five-day training takes place in Nairobi, Kenya from 18th to 22nd March 2019. Eng. Anke Weisheit, Chair Innovation & Business Management is representing the PHARMBIOTRAC team in this training.

The training aims at enhancing skills of the participants to effectively raise awareness about the ACE II and disseminate results using a variety of techniques; build capacity to develop and disseminate public relations materials targeting specific audiences; to relate with journalists, bloggers; to identify audiences and engage them effectively; to do digital marketing of the centers; to establish and maintain relationship with political leaders and critical sections of the population including the private sector.
